Very tasty food, friendly service and greetings to Chrissi
If it is open, it would be even nicer, because a closed coffee is of no use to anyone
Today we had sausages, french fries majo to go. Wonderful, enjoyed with a view of the Lopausee 🍂😋🍁
Very friendly and delicious. To be recommended without reservation!
As always, good food, very friendly everything.
Stübchen says so. Nothing big, but a pleasant stay indoors and outdoors. Good cake. Nice service. Corona regulations are observed in an exemplary manner.
We rented the guest room for 2 days. Very clean, very friendly landlady and delicious breakfast. Thank you.
I liked that very much. An extremely pleasant service. I have his friendly way of reporting delays on the part of the kitchen (additional event in the restaurant). This communicative way was very pleasant. Food was very good (Matjes) The currywurst lured, I'll tackle now. Thank you, is simply recommended!
Cafe top, restaurant flop. Were there on Saturday noon, no reasonable dishes. Currywurst € 7.20 much too expensive. Much cheaper in the snack bar on the other side of the lake.
Delicious cake, beautiful view of the Lopausee and nice service. This is how a Sunday afternoon can be endured.
Stopping there is not recommended for dog owners! Pity! At the end of a wonderful but strenuous hike with 8 dog athletes and their well-trained dogs, we were all looking forward to a refreshing break in the beer garden of the Seestübchen. The joy was all the greater when we saw that several tables were unoccupied. Two tables even separated from the rest of the beer garden and the third table next to it should also be vacated at short notice, which the couple sitting there informed us. Since we humans are just as well trained as our dogs, we still asked beforehand whether this would also be okay for the operators of the café. We were asked to wait as the tables were not yet disinfected. Well, as requested, we stood with our dogs in the midday heat for 10 minutes and waited for the entrance, which we were not allowed to enter. Instead, a couple who had just arrived were allowed to take a seat at one of the tables (the disinfection that had not yet taken place did not play a role here). After another polite request as to whether it would now be possible at the other two tables, the answer was again that the tables were not disinfected. When asked what kind of handle this was in dealing with potential customers and why we were simply left standing for 10 minutes, instead of an honest answer, did we get a smile or should I say a grin? A polite note to the operator: a mouth / nose protection does not hide the eye area and thus the reaction can be interpreted. I think everyone who owns a dog has been confronted with prejudice a thousand times and certainly there are often legitimate reasons or bad experiences. But even then, decency, at least when communicating with people, demands a polite and friendly answer. We would of course have accepted this and would have simply continued. It is a shame for such a wonderful place as Amelinghausen, with all the possibilities and wonderful hiking trails including historical history, that now with 8 tourists who have got to know the heath as hospitable to date (actually also towards larger dog groups), somehow a bitter aftertaste remains. We hope that on our next visit to Amelinghausen we will find a friendly place to stop for a break with our dogs. We are happy to leave a little picture of our trained, friendly dogs at Lopausee and in the heath this weekend. This photo shows the dogs at the beginning of our hike, early in the morning on August 22nd, 2020. After the 3 1/2 hour hike they were even calmer. Pity!
The café looks cozy and inviting! We were looking forward to a cold drink and a piece of cake after our long hike! A stop for 8 people with 10 quietly waiting dogs was unfortunately not desired! Even if there were 2 tables away and there would have been enough space and even distance from the rest of the guests, we were left standing in the area for 10 minutes! It's a shame that you don't honestly say that dogs (or several dogs) are not welcome! Hence only the one star! The next time we visit the heath, we will look for a friendly alternative to stopping off! Certainly there are restaurants somewhere else that want friendly, thirsty guests with well-behaved dogs! What a shame...
Unfortunately you are not welcome as a group with several dogs. And instead of saying it directly, we are just made to wait 10 minutes. And the excuse "Corona" doesn't count here either, because there were 2 tables free with a large distance to the other tables ....
Although the whole right terrace was empty (!!!), we were not allowed to sit there as a group. We suspect it was due to the (dead good, tired) dogs that we had with us. The excuse on site was that the tables had not yet been disinfected. Funny that the couple who came in parallel to us were allowed to sit there immediately. Very unfriendly staff, apparently quickly overwhelmed, unfortunately absolutely not to be recommended. We will never stop there again after a hike. With or without a dog ...
The ice cream 🍨 and the cake were delicious 😋. Very polite staff. And the coffee is very tasty.
The Lopau See is a quiet place for hiking afterwards a coffee and a tarte flambée in the restaurant See Stübchen delicious,
Nice restaurant / snack right on the lake. Very friendly staff and solid cuisine with a good price-performance ratio. A star deduction from me for the somewhat high prices for non-alcoholic beverages (0.5 liters of Coke 4.80 euros). Overall, however, to be recommended.
A wide selection of cakes, the three different pieces were all delicious. The coffee was very tasty and the service was friendly
It doesn't always have to be expensive ... if you want to enjoy a quiet holiday and value more relaxed leisure activities, this guesthouse in the Lüneburg Heath is the right place for you. The location of the house is unique, surrounded by woods and meadows, the guest escapes the traffic noise and gets pure nature. Waking up in the morning is a pleasure. We stayed 7 nights and really enjoyed it. The rooms (2) are cozy and clean. The bathroom is spacious and directly connected to the room. The breakfast is plentiful and there is something for every taste. E-bike rental in town, as well as various restaurants (Turkish, Italian or good bourgeois etc.) within walking distance. Last bad not least ... the warmth and friendliness of the innkeepers as well as the daily self-baked cakes and pies are particularly to be emphasized. We thank you for the great time and hope to see you again.
Very delicious cakes and tarts (potato cake was just awesome), everything was fresh and clean. Staff was very friendly. The visit is worthwhile
Pricy pastries, ice cream, hot snacks by the lake. Good service, but long waiting before one gets attention. Run by owner, who tries to do it all. Open only during Summer season. Located very romantically in a forest, close to tree top walking park and small beach on lake. A hiking trail goes right through there. Some times live music on the lake.
